What is Zinterlock?
Zinterlock is an aluminum extrusion used as a split batten or french cleat hanging solution for many mounting applications. Two Zinterlock “cleats” interlock with each other, and can be optionally locked together using a security pin.
Zinterlock allows lateral adjustment, making installations easier and enabling the object to be secured by sliding sideways onto the security pin. Zinterlock is made from non-corroding aluminum alloy so it can be used indoors or outdoors on all surfaces for a safe, durable mount.
Zinterlock is supplied in 2.4m lengths of extrusion. Buy lengths to cut and drill your own cleats.
We also offer pre-cut Zinterlock cleats of different lengths. Remember you’ll need at least a pair of cleats… and optionally one or two security pins.
To make it easier, we have assembled kits for particular applications (bed ends, mirrors etc). The kits include all cleats, security pins, and fasteners needed.
